To operate the Shark IQ Robot Self-Empty vacuum cleaner, begin by preparing your home for cleaning; secure cords and small objects. Then, set up for successful cleaning by using BotBoundary strips to keep the robot out of restricted areas. Prepare the robot by attaching side brushes and power it on. Next, set up the base in an area with a strong Wi-Fi signal and plug it in. Charge the robot by placing it on the base, ensuring power switches on both robot and base are ON. Download the SharkClean app to control and customize your cleaning experience.

Troubleshooting and error codes

CLEAN (RED) flashing 10 Robot may be stuck on an obstacle. Move robot to a new location on a level surface.
DOCK (RED) flashing 6 Front bumper may be jammed. Clean the bumper and make sure it moves in and out freely. If the issue persists, please visit sharkclean.eu.
CLEAN (BLUE) + DOCK (RED) solid 14 Botboundary error. Move your robot to a flat surface away from the magnetic boundary strip check to see if the magnetic boundary strips are set up properly.
CLEAN (RED) + DOCK (BLUE) flashing 7 Cliff sensor error. Move your robot to a new location and clean its cliff sensors.
CLEAN (RED) + DOCK (RED) flashing 9 Robot dustbin needs to be reinstalled. Insert the dustbin until it clicks in place.
