Basic Operation Summary

Manual Mode:

  • Plug in the power cord and insert the key.
  • Select manual mode.
  • Start the walking belt by pressing Start or Speed increase button.
  • Adjust speed and incline as desired using the console buttons.
  • Monitor progress on the display.
  • Measure heart rate by holding handgrip sensors.
  • Stop by pressing the Stop button.

Preset Programs:

  • Select a preset program (P3, P4, P5, or P6).
  • Start the program.
  • Follow the program's automatic speed and incline changes.
  • Override settings manually if needed.

iFIT Programs:

  • Connect treadmill to MP3 player, CD player, VCR or computer.
  • Select iFIT.com mode.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
The power does not turn on
  1. Ensure power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor and grounded outlet.
  2. Check if the key is fully inserted into the console.
  3. Reset the circuit breaker on the treadmill frame.
The power turns off during use
  1. Reset the circuit breaker.
  2. Check power cord connection and re-plug.
  3. Reinsert the key fully into the console.
  4. Contact customer service if issue persists.
The incline of the treadmill does not change correctly
  1. Recalibrate incline system by removing and re-inserting the key while pressing incline buttons.
The displays of the console do not function properly
  1. Unplug power cord and remove key.
  2. Check and reconnect console wiring.
The walking belt slows when walked on
  1. Use a single-outlet surge suppressor.
  2. Loosen the walking belt if overtightened.
  3. Contact customer service if issue persists.
The walking belt is off-center or slips when walked on
  1. Center the walking belt by adjusting rear roller bolts.
  2. Tighten the walking belt if it slips.
