Warranty Summary
Power ON/OFF and Volume: Rotate the POWER/VOLUME knob to turn on/off and adjust volume.
Transmit and Receive: Set radios to the same channel and privacy code. Hold PTT and speak to transmit. Release PTT to receive.
Channel Selection: Use MENU button and â–²/â–¼ buttons to select GMRS/FRS channels.
Scan: Press SCAN button to start/stop channel scanning.
Call Alert: Press CALL button to send a call alert.
Monitor: Hold MONITOR button to check channel activity.

Cannot Receive Messages | Confirm the radios have the same channel and Privacy Code settings. Make sure that you are within range of the other transceivers. Buildings and other structures may interfere with your communication. (See ABOUT RANGE on Page 9) |
Radio is not responding to button presses | Make sure key lock is not on. See "Keypad Lock" (Page 11). Radio might need to be reset. Turn radio off then on. Ensure accessory microphone is set properly |
Display is dim | Recharge or replace batteries. |
Charger not functioning | Contacts on the bottom of the radio may require cleaning. Ensure the outlet where the charger is plugged into is functioning properly. Check that the battery pack is installed in the radio properly. |
