Warranty Summary

KEURIG warrants the K-DUO ESSENTIALS brewer to be free of defects for one year under normal home use from the date of purchase.
Before You Brew (Cleansing Brew):
  • Plug in the brewer and place it on a stable surface.
  • Rinse and fill the water reservoir.
  • Perform a cleansing brew for both single cup and carafe sides without coffee or K-Cup pod.
  • Pour out the hot water after each cleansing brew.
Brew Your First Single Cup:
  • Place a mug on the drip tray and insert a K-Cup pod.
  • Select desired brew size and press BREW.
  • Enjoy your coffee!
Brew Your First Carafe:
  • Fill water reservoir, place paper filter in basket and add ground coffee.
  • Place carafe on heating plate.
  • Select desired size and press BREW.
  • Enjoy your coffee!

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Grounds in Your Coffee Clean exit and entrance needles. Ensure proper coffee amount for carafe brewing.
Brewer Will Not Brew Ensure handle is securely closed. Add water if 'add water' light is on. Check water reservoir seating. Contact Customer Service if issues persist.
Brewing a Partial Cup or Carafe Ensure sufficient water. Clean exit needle. Check if water reservoir was removed during brewing. Descale brewer if needed. Check drip stop for clogs. Contact Customer Service for persistent issues or high altitude short brews.
Brewer Does Not Have Power or Shuts Off Plug into grounded outlet. Ensure circuit is not overloaded. Brewer auto-shuts off after 5 minutes. Contact Customer Service if power issues remain.
