Installation with Base (LATCH):

• Remove LATCH hooks from storage.
• Ensure LATCH strap is in rear-facing path.
• Extend LATCH strap.
• Place base in vehicle back seat.
• Check rear-facing level line.
• Connect LATCH hooks to vehicle anchors.
• Tighten LATCH strap.
• Test for tightness (less than 1" movement).
• Attach car seat to base.
• Recheck level line.

Installation with Base (Vehicle Seat Belt):

• Store LATCH straps.
• Place base in vehicle back seat.
• Check level line.
• Route vehicle seat belt through rear-facing path.
• Lock vehicle seat belt.
• Tighten vehicle seat belt.
• Test for tightness.
• Attach car seat to base.
• Recheck level line.

Securing Child:

• Loosen harness straps.
• Release chest clip.
• Unbuckle.
• Place child in seat.
• Place harness straps over shoulders.
• Check harness height.
• Buckle.
• Buckle chest clip.
• Pull slack from waist.
• Tighten harness.
• Check harness tightness.
• Raise chest clip to armpit level.
