The Carrier ComfortPro PC6000 operates in two modes: Manual and Automatic.

Manual Mode: Start the APU using the On/Off button. Control fan, heater, and A/C via the DCP. HVAC cycles to maintain set temperature. APU remains on until manually turned off, unless Maximum Run Time is reached.

Automatic Modes:

  • Comfort Monitor: Maintains bunk temperature by automatically starting/stopping APU & HVAC.
  • Timer: Starts APU & HVAC at a set time for a duration.
  • Cold Weather Watch: Prevents engine freeze by starting heater when cold.
  • Battery Monitor: Recharges batteries for 90 minutes when low.

In automatic mode, manual overrides switch to manual operation.
