Warranty Summary
The Aprilaire® Humidifier Control is warranted for five (5) years from installation to be free from defects.
Turning Control ON & OFF:
- Press the ON button to turn the control on. "ON" will be displayed.
- Ensure the control and humidifier are powered.
- The RH level must be below the set point.
- The furnace or furnace blower must be running.
- To disable the humidifier, press the OFF button. "OFF" will be displayed.
Setting the Desired RH Level:
- Use the â–² and â–¼ buttons to adjust the RH setting.
- "SET" and the RH setting will be displayed while adjusting.
- Each press changes the setting by 1% RH.
- Setting changes 1% RH every 1/2 second if button is held.
- The display reverts to actual RH after 5 seconds.
Troubleshooting and error codes

| Temperature Limits Exceeded | If the temperature in the space drops below 40°F or rises above 99°F, the control will not allow the humidifier to operate. Once the temperature is in the normal range, the control will operate. Display will blink "ON" and "*" when this occurs. |
