Open the door by pulling the handle outwards. Load laundry item by item loosely into the drum. Close the door, ensuring no items are caught between the door seal and the door.
Pull out the detergent drawer. Add detergent to the main wash compartment (II). For pre-wash or soaking, use compartment (I). Add fabric softener to compartment (with MAX mark). Do not overfill. Close the drawer.
Turn the programme selector dial (1) to the desired programme. The machine automatically sets the maximum spin speed. You can change this using button (2). Turn dial to 'O' to cancel or switch off.
Use buttons (3) and (4) to select additional options like Spin Reduction, Rinse Hold, Prewash, Extra Quick, or Extra Rinse. Indicator lights will show selected options.
Press the Start/Pause button (5). The programme will begin, and the door will lock. Indicator lights show the current phase.
Press button (5) to pause. Press again to resume. Turn the programme selector dial to 'O' to cancel.
The machine switches off automatically. Indicator lights go out, and indicator light (7.3) illuminates. The door unlocks after a few minutes.
