Loading the laundry:

Connect the appliance and open the door. Place laundry in the drum, one item at a time, shaking it out. Close the door, ensuring no items are caught. Check laundry is not dripping wet. Ensure garments are suitable for machine drying, following label instructions. Close pillowcases, fasteners, zips, and tie belts. Sort laundry by type and drying requirement. Avoid over-drying to prevent creasing and save energy. Do not dry dark clothes with light, fluffy items to prevent fluff transfer. Ensure laundry is well spun. Easy-care items should be briefly pre-spun. Knitted textiles may shrink; avoid overdrying. Starched items can be used, selecting the 'iron dry' program. Use fabric softener or a specific tumble dryer conditioner to avoid static. Remove laundry promptly. For items still damp, set a brief post-drying time (at least 30 minutes). Ensure laundry is no more than half full for synthetics and one-third full for delicates and woollens. Try to load to maximum capacity as small loads are uneconomical.

Selecting the programme:

Turn the programme selector dial to the desired programme; the Start/Pause light will flash. The dial is divided into sections for Cottons, Synthetics, and Special programs. Electronically controlled programs use probes to detect dampness. Time-controlled drying is also available. Programme option buttons (Delicate, Delay, Alarme, Long-Anticrease) can be selected before pressing Start/Pause. The 'Delicate' option is for loads up to 3kg. The 'Long-Anticrease' option adds a 90-minute anti-crease phase after the drying cycle. The 'Delay Start' button allows for a 3, 6, or 9-hour delay. Press Start/Pause to begin the cycle. The drying, end of program, and anti-crease phase indicator lights will illuminate as the cycle progresses. At the end, a cooling phase occurs. Remove laundry promptly or the dryer will enter a longer anti-crease phase and then stop. Turn the dial to 'O' to switch off. Clean filters and empty the water reservoir after each use.
