Zanussi provides a 12-month guarantee for faulty workmanship or materials, free of charge repair or replacement.
Before using: Remove all securing tapes. Wash the interior with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda. Dry thoroughly. Do not use soap or detergent.
Setting the temperature: Use the single thermostat dial (1-6) for refrigerator and freezer. Position 3-4 is usually most suitable.
Freezer compartment: Suitable for storing commercially frozen food and freezing fresh foods.
Freezing fresh food: Place food in the upper drawer. Freeze up to 4kg in 24 hours.
Thawing: Thaw in the fridge or at room temperature. Small items can be cooked from frozen. Defrosted cooked food must not be refrozen.
Fresh food refrigeration: Do not store warm food or evaporating liquids. Cover or wrap food. Do not cover shelves with paper, cardboard or plastic.
Making ice cubes: Fill trays 3/4 full and place in freezer. Twist trays to release cubes.
Troubleshooting and error codes

| The temperature in the fridge or freezer section is too high | Check thermostat setting relative to ambient conditions. Check ambient temperature is within operating limits. Relocate if necessary. |
| The freezer door will not open | Has door just been opened? Wait for air pressure to equalize. |
| The compressor runs continuously | Adjust thermostat control knob. Check doors are closed. |
| Excessive frost and ice has built up | Check air ventilation is not obstructed. Ensure doors are not left open. Check nothing prevents closing. Check door gasket. |
| Noise | Refer to normal operating sounds. |
| Water under the salad bin | Check the drain hole is not blocked. |
