Zanussi provides a 12-month guarantee covering faulty workmanship or materials, free of charge.
Before Using: Wash the interior with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda. Dry thoroughly. Do not use soap or detergent.
Control Panel: A - Pilot light (green), B - Thermostat control knob, C - Fast freeze light (yellow), D - Fast freeze switch.
Starting Appliance: Allow to stand for 2 hours. Plug in. Set thermostat to medium. Wait 4 hours before adding food. Turn thermostat to 'O' to switch off.
Temperature Control: Dial controls coldness. Position = minimum, Position = maximum. Adjust as needed.
Freezing Fresh Food: Use 4-star compartment. Push fast freeze switch 3 hours before loading. Can freeze up to 4 kg in 24 hours. Place food in the lowest drawer.
Frozen Food Storage: Let appliance run for 2 hours on coldest setting before storing. Do not exceed manufacturer's storage times.
Thawing: Thaw in fridge or at room temperature. Small items can be cooked from frozen. Defrosted cooked food must not be refrozen.
Making Ice Cubes: Fill trays 3/4 full. Twist tray to release cubes.
Refrigerator Use: Thermostat regulates both compartments. Setting depends on room temperature, door opening frequency, food stored, and appliance position. Store food covered. Use salad crispers for fruit/veg, airtight containers for butter/cheese.
Normal Operating Sounds: Gurgling, bubbling, whirring, pulsating, and thermostat clicks are normal.
Movable Shelves: Shelves can be repositioned.
Door Shelves: Adjustable for different sized packages. Top shelf removable for cleaning.
Troubleshooting and error codes
