Charging and Powering

  • Charging the earbuds: Place earbuds in the charging case. Indicator lights red while charging, turns off when complete (approx. 1.5 hours).
  • Charging the charging case: Connect the USB power adapter. Charging takes approx. 2.5 hours.
  • Turning on the power: Remove earbuds from the charging case. They turn on automatically.
  • Turning off the power: Place earbuds back in the charging case.
  • Remaining Battery Power: Check audio messages (High, Medium, Low) or indicators.

Bluetooth® Connectivity

  • Pairing for the First Time: Remove earbuds, activate Bluetooth on your device, select "Yamaha...".
  • Pairing with a Different Device: Hold function key (L) and + key (R) for 3 seconds to enter pairing standby.
  • Connecting to a Device Already Paired: Activate Bluetooth on the device, remove earbuds from case. They connect automatically to the last paired device.

Wearing This Product

  • Putting on the earbuds: Check L/R markings, insert into ears, and adjust for a snug fit.
  • Replacing the eartips: Select the size that matches your ears and attach firmly.

Operation (Audio Playback and Phone Calls)

  • Playing back Audio: Use function key for pause/play, + key for next track, - key for previous track. Volume controls: + for up, - for down.
  • AMBIENT SOUND: Press function key twice to toggle ON/OFF.
  • Talking on the phone: Press function key to receive/end calls. Hold for one second to ignore. Use +/ key for volume.
  • Starting the voice assistant: Hold down the - (minus) key for about one second.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Trouble Solution
Earbuds (L) and (R) are not connecting properly. Put the earbuds back into the charging case and then take them out again. The earbuds will turn on and both earbuds automatically connect.
The product is not pairing correctly. If the information for this product still remains in the list of connected devices on your Bluetooth device, delete that information and try pairing again. "Pairing with a Different Device” (p.19)
The information for a Bluetooth device that was registered on this product was deleted. If you pair a device beyond the maximum number of pairable Bluetooth devices, the information for device you first paired (the oldest pairing) is deleted. Pair this product once more. "Pairing with a Different Device” (p.19)
This product may already be connected to another Bluetooth device. On your Bluetooth device, remove the connection with this product and then connect this product again.
This product and your Bluetooth device may be too far apart. Move this product closer to the Bluetooth device.
A device that emits electromagnetic waves (such as a microwave oven, access point and so on) might be nearby. Do not use this product near other devices that emit electromagnetic waves.
