Charging and Powering

  • Charging the earbuds: Place earbuds in the charging case. Indicators show charging status. Takes approx. 2 hours.
  • Charging the charging case: Connect to a USB power adaptor. Takes approx. 2 hours. Indicators show battery level.
  • Turning on: Remove earbuds from the charging case.
  • Turning off: Place earbuds back into the charging case.
  • Remaining Battery Power: Audio messages indicate battery level (High, Medium, Low).

Bluetooth® Connectivity

  • Pairing for the First Time: Remove earbuds, activate Bluetooth on device, select "Yamaha...".
  • Pairing with a Different Device: Long-tap touch controls on both earbuds simultaneously to enter pairing mode.
  • Connecting to a Device Already Paired: Activate Bluetooth on the device, remove earbuds from case.
  • Multi-point connection: Connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

Wearing This Product

  • Putting on the earbuds: Check L/R markings, rotate to fit.
  • Replacing the eartips: Choose the size that matches your ears for a snug fit.

Operation (Audio Playback and Phone Calls)

  • Volume controls: Long-tap R earbud to increase, L earbud to decrease.
  • Audio playback: Single-tap L for pause/play, double-tap R to skip track, double-tap L to go back.
  • AMBIENT SOUND: Single-tap R earbud to toggle on/off.
  • Phone calls: Single-tap L to receive, long-tap L to end, triple-tap R to ignore.
  • Voice assistant: Triple-tap L to start/stop (Siri). Google Assistant operated via device.

Dedicated Application

  • Headphone Control app: Manage settings, check battery, update firmware.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Trouble Cannot connect
  • Earbuds (L) and (R) not connecting properly: Put earbuds back in case, take out again.
  • Product not pairing correctly: Delete product info from Bluetooth device and re-pair.
  • Bluetooth device already connected to another device: Disconnect and connect to this product.
  • Bluetooth deactivated: Turn Bluetooth on.
  • Pairing information deleted: Re-pair the product.
  • Product and device too far apart: Move closer.
  • Electromagnetic waves nearby: Move away from interfering devices.
  • Unsupported Bluetooth device: This product may not support devices requiring a passkey.
Trouble Multi-point connection unavailable
  • Already connected to two devices: Disconnect one device to connect a third.
  • Product not pairing correctly: Delete product info from Bluetooth device and re-pair.
Trouble Power will not turn on
  • Insufficient battery power: Charge the product.
  • Charging case battery depleted: Charge the charging case.
  • Product temporarily not functioning: Put earbuds in case, wait 10 seconds, remove. If issue persists, initialize.
Trouble Product cannot be charged
  • Computer not turned on (if charging from computer): Turn computer on.
  • Incorrect USB power cable used: Use the included cable.
  • Earbuds/charging connectors not contacting: Ensure earbuds are properly seated and clean.
Trouble Product does not operate or play back
  • Earbuds charging: Wait until charging is finished.
  • Not enough battery power: Charge the earbuds.
  • Product temporarily not functioning: Put earbuds in case, wait 10 seconds, remove. If issue persists, initialize.
  • Fingertip not touching Touch Control: Tap center with fingertip.
Trouble No sound can be heard
  • Earbuds not connected: Pair the product.
  • Volume too low: Raise the volume.
  • Audio stopped: Start playback.
Trouble Sound can only be heard from one earbud
  • Earbuds not connecting properly: Put earbuds back in case, take out again.
  • Signal unstable: Move away from wireless devices, try again.
  • Smartphone app issue: Try a different app.
  • One earbud turned off: Turn power on.
  • Connection information corrupted: Delete from Bluetooth device and re-pair.
Trouble Sound is not good or sounds strange
  • Wearing earbuds on wrong sides: Check L/R placement.
  • Eartips don't fit: Replace with correct size.
Trouble Sound is distorted, noisy or choppy
  • Signal unstable: Move away from wireless devices, move device closer. Turn off wireless features on Bluetooth device if necessary.
  • Product temporarily not functioning: Put earbuds in case, wait 10 seconds, remove. If issue persists, initialize.
  • GAMING MODE is ON: Set to OFF.
Trouble Using only one of the earbuds
  • Pair the desired earbud. Note that stereo to monaural conversion is not supported. Check device for this function. Use device for controls.
Trouble Initializing (performing a factory reset)
  • Put earbuds in case, within 20 secs, long-tap touch controls for 10 secs.
Trouble Updating the firmware
  • Use Headphone Control app, check for updates, follow on-screen instructions. Initialize after update.
Privacy Policy
