Connecting Speakers to Amplifier

  1. Ensure the amplifier is switched off.
  2. Connect speaker cables from the receiver/amplifier output terminals to the speaker input terminals, ensuring correct polarity (+) to (+) and (-) to (-).
  3. Press the lever on the speaker terminal down, insert the bare wire end, and release the lever to secure.
  4. Gently tug the cable to confirm a secure connection.
  5. Repeat for all connections.

Speaker Placement

For stereo listening, place main speakers 6-8 feet apart in front of the listening area. For surround sound, place speakers behind the listening area, 6-10 feet apart and at or above ear level.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No Sound Speaker cable loose or disconnected. Check and secure all speaker cable connections.
No Sound Amplifier not switched on or volume too low. Turn on the amplifier and adjust volume.
Distorted Sound Volume too high, causing amplifier clipping. Reduce the volume level on the amplifier.
Distorted Sound Speaker driver damaged (dented grille). Do not touch speaker drivers. If damaged, sound may be distorted. Contact service.
Unnatural Sound Incorrect polarity (+/-) connection. Ensure correct polarity for all speaker connections.
