Turning the Phone On/Off: Press and hold the power button. All indicators and the display will light momentarily, and a tone will be heard. To turn off, press and hold the same button.
Antenna Position: The antenna should be fully extended for optimum performance, especially in poor signal areas.
Signal Strength Icon: Indicates the strength of the signal received. More lines mean a stronger signal. If the signal is too weak, a specific icon will appear.
Battery Level Icon: Allows constant monitoring of the battery charge condition.
Placing Calls: Enter the phone number and press the send key. The call icon will appear. To terminate a call, press the end call key.
Receiving Calls: The phone will alert you with a sound or vibration, and the LED will flash. Press the answer key to receive the call. To mute the ringer, press the appropriate key.
Caller ID with Name: Allows previewing the caller's number and name before answering.
Operating Procedures (FCC Rules): Do not use obscene language, send false distress calls, wiretap, make anonymous calls, charge other accounts without authorization, interfere with radio communications, or refuse to yield the line for emergency calls.
