Configuring Toshiba MFP

To use a Toshiba MFP connected directly to the LAN with the Toshiba Network Viewer, ImageVision2000 or SmartLink2000, you must define the following settings on the Toshiba MFP:
  • TCP/IP settings (BOOTP/DHCP or static IP, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway).
  • Host Name, Email Address, Error Mail FW Address, SMTP Server Address, Receive Mode, and Email to Fax Gateway settings.
  • FTP Server Login Name and Password.
  • LAN Fax Server Address.
The document also provides steps for checking communication between the PC and the MFP, verifying SMTP server status, and sending fax messages successfully. It details how to troubleshoot common issues like "Invalid credentials for setup" and "Remote fax abandoned".
