Getting Started
- Loading the Battery: Follow arrow, insert battery with correct polarity, close cover.
- Inserting/Removing SD Card: Insert card into slot. Press inwards to remove.
- Turning On/Off: Flip out LCD panel to turn on, or press Power Button. Close LCD panel or press Power Button to turn off.
Record Mode
- Start Recording: Press Movie Shutter Button for movies/voice, Picture Shutter Button for pictures.
- Zoom: Use Tele/Wide Button to zoom in/out (1x to 8x).
- Close-up Pictures: Use Macro or Portrait Mode via the Macro Switch.
- Menu Navigation: Press OK Button to enter menus, use arrow buttons to navigate, and OK to select.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Problem | Solution |
| LCD image unclear | Rotate "Focus Ring" on lens to General/Figure/Macro. |
| Flash not working | Check if in Macro mode or if battery is low. |
| Zoom inactive | Ensure "Anti-shake" function is OFF. |
| Memory card files not displaying smoothly | Delete unsupported/mixed format files. Format card before use. |
| Flash not active | Ensure lens dial is NOT set to Macro mode. Set Flash to Auto or Fill in Flash. |
| Blurry/dark indoor pictures | Keep camera steady, especially in low light. Note camera's flash has limited range. |
| Battery not charging via computer | Use ONLY the supplied AC charger. Ensure camera is OFF. |
