This monitor meets power-saving guidelines and automatically reduces power consumption in three stages if connected to a DPMS compliant computer. The stages are: normal operation (green indicator, 22W max), active off (orange indicator, 2W max), and deep sleep (2W max). Power off has no indicator light.
When an input signal is received, the monitor automatically matches it to a factory preset mode for high-quality display. For non-matching signals, it adjusts position, phase, and pitch within its frequency range. This adjustment data is stored for future use. During this adjustment, only the power switch is active.
