Getting Started

Step 1: Checking supplied accessories

Ensure you have all the supplied items: AC Adaptor, power cord, accessory shoe kit, XLR handle unit, USB cable, Wireless Remote Commander, rechargeable battery pack, large eyecup, lens hood, lens cap, and the "Manuals for Solid-State Memory Camcorder" CD-ROM including the Operating Guide.

Step 2: Charging the battery pack

Close the LCD and viewfinder. Attach the battery pack. Connect the AC Adaptor and power cord to an outlet. The CHG lamp indicates charging status. Disconnect when fully charged. The battery pack can be charged using the supplied AC Adaptor (NP-FV70A). For removal, turn off the power and slide the BATT release lever.
