Getting Started

• Charging the Battery Pack: Connect the AC power adaptor to a wall outlet and the battery pack to the adaptor. The CHARGE lamp indicates charging status.
• Inserting a Cassette: Open the cassette compartment, insert the cassette with the window facing out, and close the compartment.

Basic Operations

• Camera Recording: Set the POWER switch to CAMERA, turn STANDBY up, and press START/STOP to begin recording. Press START/STOP again to pause. Turn STANDBY down and set POWER to OFF to finish.
• Using the Zoom Feature: Use the power zoom lever to adjust the zoom. T side for telephoto, W side for wide-angle.
• Checking the Recorded Picture: Use EDITSEARCH to review the last recorded scene.
• Connections for Playback: Connect the camcorder to a TV or VCR using the A/V cable for playback.
• Playing Back a Tape: Set the POWER switch to PLAYER, insert the tape, and press PLAY. Use the tape transport buttons for controlling playback.
