Charging the battery pack:

  1. Connect the AC power adaptor to a wall outlet.
  2. Align and slide the battery pack onto the adaptor.
  3. Set the selector to CHARGE; the CHARGE lamp lights up.

Installing the battery pack:

  1. Insert the top of the battery pack into the battery mounting surface.
  2. Push the battery pack until it clicks twice.

Inserting a cassette:

  1. Press EJECT to open the compartment.
  2. Insert the cassette with the window facing out.
  3. Press PUSH to close the compartment.

Camera recording:

  1. Set the POWER switch to CAMERA.
  2. Turn STANDBY up.
  3. Press START/STOP to begin recording.
