Getting Started: Prepare the camcorder by connecting power sources (battery pack, AC adapter, or car battery), inserting a lithium battery for the clock, and setting the date and time. Insert an 8mm video cassette and adjust the viewfinder lens for a clear image.

Recording: You can record using automatic adjustments or manual controls. Auto mode handles focus, white balance, and shutter speed. Manual mode allows fine-tuning these settings, as well as using features like backlight compensation, zooming, macro, and fades.

Playback & VCR Functions: Connect to a TV for playback. The camcorder also supports recording from other VCRs or TVs, and insert recording to add new scenes to existing tapes.
