Getting Started

1. Connect a power source (AC adapter, battery pack, or alkaline batteries).

2. Set the date and time.

3. Insert a tape.

4. Adjust the viewfinder lens.

5. Adjust the grip belt.

6. Set the auto function on for automatic adjustments of focus, white balance, iris, and shutter speed. Manual adjustments are available.

Recording

Automatic Adjustments:

  1. Set POWER to CAMERA.
  2. Insert cassette.
  3. Keep AUTO LOCK cover closed.
  4. Slide STANDBY switch up (enters recording pause mode).
  5. Press START/STOP button to begin recording.

Playback:

  1. Set POWER to CAMERA.
  2. Slide STANDBY switch up.
  3. Use EDITSEARCH buttons (-, +) to view in reverse or forward.
