Getting Started

1. Connect a power source (battery pack or AC adapter).

2. Set the date and time.

3. Insert a cassette tape.

4. Adjust the viewfinder lens for clear viewing.

Recording a Picture

1. Set POWER to CAMERA and slide STANDBY up.

2. Frame your shot and press START/STOP to begin recording.

3. Press START/STOP again to pause or slide STANDBY down to stop.

Playing Back a Tape

1. Set POWER to VTR and attach the AC power adaptor.

2. Insert a tape.

3. Connect the camcorder to a TV and select the appropriate input.

4. Press PLAY to start playback. Use the remote or camcorder buttons to control playback functions.

Other Functions

The manual also details functions such as:

• Automatic and manual adjustments (focus, white balance, shutter speed).
• Zooming.
• Close-up shooting (macro).
• Fading in and out.
