Setup and Connection:

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Cause Solution
Display is blank/DVD player shows no functions even though it is switched on Power cable not properly inserted. Check power cable insertion and power socket. Try another device or power socket.
Display dimmer function is switched off. Press DIMMER button on the remote control.
DVD player not switched on correctly. Switch off DVD player using POWER switch, wait ten seconds, then switch on again.
The display shows "No Disc" even though there is a disc inserted Disc is dirty, scratched, or damaged. Clean the disc or insert another disc.
Country/Region code mismatch. The DVD player's country/region code must match the inserted disc's code.
Inserted disc will not playback Condensation on the laser lens. Place DVD player in a dry environment at normal temperature, remove disc, and leave switched off for at least one hour.
No image or Black/White image only Connection cables not firmly inserted. Check all connection cables between DVD player and TV/projector.
Incorrect OSD menu settings for the connection variant. Ensure OSD menu settings match the connected variant (refer to Chapter 8).
Incorrect TV/projector settings. Consult TV/projector instruction manual for necessary settings.
No sound TV or DVD player muted. Check mute settings on both devices.
Audio connection cables not firmly inserted. Check all audio connection cables.
Incorrect OSD menu settings for audio components. Ensure OSD menu settings match the connected audio components (refer to Chapter 9).
Incorrect TV/projector settings. Consult TV/projector instruction manual.

Incorrect FRONT SPEAKER setting for stereo/Dolby Prologic. Check OSD menu AUDIO settings and select LARGE for FRONT SPEAKER.
No 4:3 or 16:9 image TV's available image formats not considered. Check TV's available image formats (consult TV manual).
OSD menu settings do not match TV's image format. Ensure OSD menu settings match the TV's available image format.
Remote control not functioning Batteries inserted incorrectly. Check battery polarity in the compartment.
Batteries exhausted. Replace both batteries.
Obstruction between remote control and DVD player. Ensure no obstacles are present.
Operating range exceeded. Remain within five meters of the DVD player.
Playback language/ Subtitle language do not correspond to the settings in the OSD menu Selected language not available on the disc. The selected language is not available on the inserted disc.
