Warranty Information

The appliance has a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering material or factory defects.

  • Setup: Place the DVD player on a flat surface, remove protective foil. Connect to a television before plugging into power.
  • Disc Playback: Insert DVD/VCD/S-VCD or Audio CD into the tray. Press OPEN/CLOSE to open/close the tray. Playback starts automatically or requires selection via menu.
  • Media Playback: Use DVD/CARD/USB button to access memory cards or USB sticks. Navigate content using control buttons.
  • OSD Menu: Press SETUP to access OnScreen Display menu for language, video, audio, and rating settings.
  • Connections: Connect to TV via Scart, S-Video, Composite Video, VGA, Component, or HDMI. Connect audio components via cinch or digital cables.
  • Functions: Features include chapter search, subtitle control, audio language selection, zoom, slow motion, programmed playback, and repeat functions.
  • CD Ripping: Transfer audio from CDs to USB/memory cards in MP3 format.
  • Switching Off: Press STANDBY for standby mode, or POWER for full shutdown.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Display is blank/DVD player shows no functions even though it is switched on
ACheck power cord connection.
BTest power socket with another appliance.
Check if the display is switched off by the Dimmer function.
Switch off the DVD player, wait ten seconds, then switch back on.
The display shows "No Disc" even though there is a disc inserted
Disc is dirty, scratched, or damaged. Clean or insert another disc.
Country/Region code mismatch.
Inserted disc will not playback
Condensation may have built up on the laser lens. Allow the player to acclimatize in a dry environment for at least one hour with the disc removed.
No image or Black/White image only
ACheck all connection cables are firmly inserted.
BEnsure OSD menu settings match the connection variant used.
Check TV/projector settings.
No sound
ACheck if the television and/or DVD player is muted.
BCheck all connecting cables to audio components are firmly plugged.
