Your new dryer:

  • Ensure correct installation as per the manual.
  • Sort laundry by fabric type and program.
  • Load the dryer to its recommended capacity.
  • Select the appropriate drying program and additional functions if needed.
  • Press the Start button to begin.
  • Check fabric care labels before drying.
  • Clean the fluff filter after each cycle.
  • Empty the dryer promptly after the program ends.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Troubleshooting...CauseSolution
The "on" indicator lamp does not light up. The dryer is not plugged in. Plug in the dryer.
No drying program has been set. Turn the program selector to the program required.
The household fuse has tripped. Reset/replace the fuse.
The dryer does not start. Start button M has not been pressed. Press the button.
No drying program has been set. Select the program you require using the program selector.
The door is not shut. Close the door.
The ambient temperature is below 5°C. Increase the room temperature.
The humidity in the room has increased significantly. The room is not sufficiently ventilated. Ensure sufficient ventilation.
The door opens by itself. The locking pins are not engaged. Push the door closed until you hear the locking pins click into place.
Drying is not satisfactory or the drying time is too long. The filter is blocked. Clean the filter (page 18).
Drying is not satisfactory Ambient temperature above 30° C. Make sure that the dryer has sufficient ventilation.
The wrong program was selected. Set the drying program using the program information (from page 16).
Power cut for several hours Restart the program by pressing the Start button again.
The laundry feels damper than it really is. Reset the drying time if the laundry has not been dried sufficiently after cooling down.
Laundry is not dried evenly - Too much laundry
- Only large items of laundry
- Items of laundry with different fibre constructions are being dried.		 Dry

Condensation in the exhaust air hose. The exhaust air hose is too long. Arrange the dryer so that the exhaust air hose is no more than 2 m long.
