Starting up your new clothes dryer: Please read the manual carefully to understand the advantages and proper use of your Siemens dryer. Ensure the device is installed correctly, following all safety instructions. Check for visible damage before operating. Familiarize yourself with the device controls and programs. Refer to the quick start guide for immediate operation.
Basic Operation:
1. Sort laundry according to program suitability.
2. Turn on the device using the program selector.
3. Select the desired program and any additional settings.
4. Close the door.
5. Press Start to begin the drying cycle.
6. Once the program is finished, switch off the device.
7. Open the door and remove the laundry promptly.
8. Empty the condensation container if necessary.
9. Remove lint from the filters.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Disruptions | Cause / remedy |

| Device does not start | Check the power plug and the fuses. |
| Wrinkling. | Load exceeded or wrong program selected for a type of fabric. Refer to the program table. Take the laundry out of the drum as soon as it is dry. Lying in the drum causes creases. |
| Water comes out. | The device could be at an angle. Align the device. |
| Displayed program duration changes during dry washing operation. | No mistake. The moisture sensor determines the residual moisture in the laundry and adapts the program duration (except time programs). |
| Laundry does not dry properly or is still too damp. | At the end of the program, warm laundry feels more humid than it actually is. Spread out the laundry and let it cool down. Adjust the dryness level or increase the level of dryness. This extends the drying time while maintaining the same temperature. Select the time program for drying laundry that is still damp. Select the time program for a small load. Maximum load of a program is not exceeded. Clean the moisture sensor in the drum. Drying was interrupted by a power failure, a full condensation container or by exceeding the maximum drying time. Also note the tips on washing. |
| Program does not start | Make sure, that the door is closed. The childproof lock is deactivated for 3 seconds on start / pause was pressed. A program delay may be set, the program starts at a later time. |
| Drying time too long. | The appliance can be soiled with lint. This causes a longer drying time. Remove the fluff. A blocked or not freely accessible air inlet on the device can extend the drying time. Keep the air inlet free. An ambient temperature lower than 15 ° C and higher than 30 ° C can extend the drying time. Insufficient air circulation in the room can increase the drying time. Ventilate the room sufficiently. Humidity in the room increases. Ventilate the room sufficiently. |
| Drying program canceled. | If the drying program is interrupted due to a power failure, start the program again or remove the laundry and spread it out. |
| Unfamiliar noises when drying. | The automatic cleaning of the heat exchanger causes noises. This does not indicate a malfunction of the device. |
| The device feels like it is drying cold at. | No fault. The device with heat pump dries efficiently with low Temperatures. |
| Residual water in the condensate container, although the drain hose * is connected to the device. | If the optional drainage hose * is installed, some residual water will remain in the condensate container due to the self-cleaning function of the device. |
