Basic Operation

  1. Load laundry and close the door.
  2. Switch on the dryer.
  3. Select a programme and adjust settings if necessary.
  4. Press the Start button to begin.
  5. Dry cycle will commence.
  6. Unload laundry when complete.
  7. Switch off the dryer.
  8. Empty the condensate container.
  9. Clean the fluff filter.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Faults Cause/remedy
On the display panel and drying has been interrupted. Empty the condensate container and press the Start button. If the optional condensation drain is installed, check and flush the drain hose.
On the display panel. Clean the fluff filter and/or the heat exchanger, then select the Start button.
Dryer does not start. Check mains plug and fuse. Select a programme. Close the dryer door. Deactivate childproof lock. Programme starts after a delay if "Ready in" time is selected.
Display panel goes off and Start button flashes. Energy saving mode is active.
Creasing. Do not exceed maximum load or select the wrong programme. Remove clothes immediately after drying.
Water is leaking out. Level the dryer if it is on an incline.
Change in the programme duration displayed during drying. Moisture sensors adjust programme length (except timed programmes).
Laundry is not dried correctly or is still too damp. Warm laundry feels damper than it is; spread out to disperse heat. Adjust dryness level or select a longer drying time. Select a timed programme for subsequent drying if needed. Do not exceed maximum load. Clean the moisture sensor. Drying may be interrupted due to power cut, full condensate container, or maximum drying time exceeded.
Drying time too long? Clean the fluff filter. Ensure air inlet is unobstructed. Avoid high ambient temperatures and ensure good air circulation.
Humidity in the room increases. Ensure the room is sufficiently ventilated.
Power cut. Programme is interrupted. Remove and spread laundry, or restart the programme.
