How to use your appliance

  1. Load the tableware: Only clean tableware suitable for dishwashers. Remove large food remnants. Check spray arms can rotate freely.
  2. Add detergent: Add detergent to the dry detergent dispenser and close the lid.
  3. Switch on the appliance.
  4. Select the programme: Press Start repeatedly until the desired programme is selected.
  5. Start the programme: Press Start.
  6. Remove tableware: At the end of the programme.
  7. To cancel, press Reset for 4 seconds. The programme cancels and ends after approx. 1 minute.

Adding special salt

Only add special salt to the dispenser for special salt just before the programme starts to avoid appliance damage.

  1. Unscrew and remove the lid of the special salt dispenser.
  2. On initial start-up, fill the dispenser with water.
  3. Add special salt. The water will be displaced. Never add detergent.
  4. Replace and close the lid.

Adding rinse aid

  1. Press the catch on the lid of the rinse aid dispenser and lift.
  2. Add rinse aid up to the max mark.
  3. Close the lid; it will click into position.

Setting the water softening system

  1. Press .
  2. Press Setup for 3 seconds to open appliance settings.
  3. Press Start repeatedly until the correct water hardness is set (0, 1, 2, or 3 LEDs light up).
  4. Press Setup for 3 seconds to save settings.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Fault Cause and troubleshooting
Display for water supply lights up Supply hose is kinked. Install the supply hose without kinks.
Water tap is turned off. Turn on the water tap.
Water tap is jammed or furred up. Turn on the water tap.
Filters in the water connection are blocked. Switch off appliance, unplug, turn off water, unscrew connection, remove and clean filter, re-insert, screw back on, check for leaks, restore power, switch on.
Remnants of food on tableware. Wastewater hose is blocked or kinked. Reposition hose, remove residues.
Siphon connection is sealed. Check and open.
Wastewater pump cover is loose. Secure cover.
Tableware is placed too close together or basket is overfilled. Arrange with space, avoid contact.
Spray arm rotation is blocked. Arrange tableware so it does not obstruct rotation.
Spray arm nozzles are blocked. Clean spray arms.
Filters are soiled. Clean filters.
Filters are inserted incorrectly and/or not engaged. Insert and engage filters properly.
Removable streaks are present on glasses, glassware with a metallic appearance and cutlery. Washing programme selected too weak. Select a more intensive programme.
Amount of rinse aid dispensed is set too high. Set rinse aid system to a lower setting.
No rinse aid has been added. Add rinse aid.
Rust spots on cutlery. Cutlery is not sufficiently rust-resistant. Use rust-resistant tableware. Knife blades are often more affected.
Cutlery may also rust if washed together with rusting items. Do not wash rusting items.
Detergent residue is present in the detergent dispenser or the tablet collecting tray. Spray arms were blocked by tableware so detergent was not rinsed out. Check spray arms are not blocked and can rotate freely.
All LEDs light up or flash or the rinse programme does not continue running. The programme has been interrupted. Select and start the programme again.
