Key Functions

Putting into Service

Safety Precautions

  • Do not operate in bathrooms or showers.
  • Dispose of environmentally.

Recommendations for Installation

  • Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Operate between +5°C and +40°C.
  • Keep at least 1 meter away from radio equipment.
  • Avoid dusty environments.
  • Clean with a damp cloth; avoid dry cloths or abrasive agents.

Saving and Dialing Call Numbers

Save call numbers to repertory keys or speed dialing keys. Numbers can be up to 21 digits long. Saving a number overwrites previous content.

Adjusting the Telephone

  • Mute: Deactivate the microphone during a call by pressing the mute key. Reactivate by pressing again.
  • Handset Volume: Set to 2 levels using the handset volume control key.
  • Ringer: Set frequency and volume to 9 levels or turn off.

Troubleshooting

  • No dial tone: Check connecting cord.
  • No dialing possible: Check dialing mode.
  • Other party cannot hear you: Check if mute is activated.
  • During calls, regular pulse tones may indicate line issues; contact network carrier.

Handset off-hook, no dial tone Is the connecting cord correctly inserted in the telephone and the wall socket?
Dial tone is audible, but dialing is not possible The telephone is OK. Is the dialing mode correctly set?
The other party cannot hear you Has the mute feature been activated?
During the call you can hear regular pulse tones Your line is receiving charge pulses from the exchange which cannot be recognised by your telephone. Please contact your network carrier.
