Precautions for Servicing

• Disconnect power, printer, and network cables before servicing, except for communication tests.
• Exercise caution due to high temperature and high voltage areas.
• Do not disassemble the laser unit; avoid laser beam exposure.
• Be careful of moving parts like belts and gears when the machine is operating.
• Keep the machine in a safe state; do not leave it disassembled.
• Avoid breathing toner, developer, or ink; flush with water if contact occurs.
• Beware of sharp edges inside the machine.
• Do not throw toner cartridges into fire.
• Use only the specified lithium battery for PWB replacement.
• Transport PWBs in anti-static bags.

Warning for Servicing

• Use a power outlet meeting specified voltage and current requirements.
• Disconnect power immediately if smoke or abnormal smell occurs.
• Ensure proper grounding to prevent fire or electric shock.
• Avoid connecting grounding wires to gas tubes, lightning conductors, or unapproved water pipes.
• Do not damage, twist, or pull the power cord.
• Keep the power cable away from heat sources and do not insert plugs with dust.
• Do not put metallic objects or water inside the machine.
• Avoid performing servicing with wet or oily hands.

Note for Installing Site

• Avoid high temperature, high humidity, low temperature, low humidity, or extreme changes in conditions.
• Avoid places with excessive vibration.
• Ensure good ventilation to prevent ozone odor buildup.
• Avoid direct sunlight, which can deform plastic parts and toner.
• Avoid places with organic gases like ammonium, which can affect the OPC drum.
• Minimize dust entering the machine.
• Ensure adequate air intake and exhaust.
• Install on a stable, level surface.
