Replacing the Filter Cartridge

  1. Turn off and unplug the projector.
  2. Clean dust around air vents.
  3. Press latch to open filter cover.
  4. Pull out filter cartridge.
  5. Insert new cartridge and close cover.
  6. Connect power cord and turn on projector.
  7. Reset filter and scroll counters.

Lamp Replacement

  1. Turn off and unplug projector. Cool for 45 minutes.
  2. Open filter cover.
  3. Loosen screw, open lamp cover, remove lamp.
  4. Insert new lamp.
  5. Close lamp cover, secure screw, close filter cover.
  6. Connect power cord and turn on projector.
  7. Reset lamp replacement counter.

Troubleshooting and error codes

SYMPTOM Projector does not turn on. AC power cord is not connected. Connect AC power cord.
Filter is clogged. Replace filter cartridge and reset filter counter.
Lamp cover is not closed securely. Close lamp cover securely.
Internal temperature is too high. Allow projector to cool down.
Fuse is blown. Replace fuse.
Filter cartridge is not installed correctly. Install filter cartridge correctly.
WARNING TEMP. indicator is blinking. Internal temperature is too high. Allow projector to cool down.
LAMP indicator lights on and other four indicators blink. Power failure or fan lock detected. Unplug and reconnect AC power cord. If problem persists, contact service.
