Getting Started:
- Attach the camera strap.
- Insert batteries and, optionally, an SD/SDHC memory card. Format the card if necessary.
- Close the battery/memory card cover securely.
- Set the date and time, and choose the language. Format the memory card or internal memory if needed.
Capture Mode:
- Turn on the camera and set the mode to [A].
- Compose your image using the LCD monitor, zooming in or out as needed.
- Press the shutter button halfway to focus and adjust exposure, then press fully to capture the image.
- Explore various scene modes for different shooting conditions.
Video Mode:
- Set the camera mode to [9].
- Adjust settings like size, quality, color, and audio in the Video Menu.
- Record video clips and adjust zoom if desired.
Playback Mode:
- Use the [►] button to enter playback mode.
- View still images and video clips.
- Options include fixing red-eye, slide shows, protecting images, and copying to card.
Troubleshooting and error codes
