Handling the Compact Disc Player
When handling the unit, be aware that many internal parts require precise operation. Extra care is needed during shipping and unpacking. Avoid touching the front panel, disc holder, and disc cover when lifting. Do not rotate the unit end-to-end; if turning is necessary, support both end panels.
Unpacking
Place the unit on a soft surface. Turn it over carefully, loosen the shipping screw, and move the pick-up securing switch to the "OFF" position. Turn the unit right-side up, connect the power cord, set the power switch to "ON", and press OPEN/CLOSE to insert a disc.
Shipment
Remove any disc, set the power switch to "OFF", and disconnect the power cord. Place the unit on a soft surface and turn it upside down carefully.
