INTRODUCTION

This monitor is a 14-inch, high-resolution, color display monitor. This manual covers its use and points of caution. Please read it thoroughly for best performance and use. Store it safely for future reference.

The carton should contain: CQA4147, CQA4147L monitor, Tilt and swivel stand, This manual, Power cord, 9-15 pin signal cable.

OPERATING GUIDE

CONNECTING TO YOUR COMPUTER

  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Connect the AC power cord to the monitor and then to an outlet.
  3. Connect the 9-pin side of the signal cable to the monitor's 9-pin D-SUB connector.
  4. Connect the 15-pin side of the signal cable to your video controller's output port.
  5. Consult your computer's manual for power-on instructions.
  6. Turn on the monitor using the power switch. The LED indicator will light. Turn off by pressing the switch again.

CONTROL LOCATIONS AND FUNCTIONS

Familiarize yourself with the controls for optimal display adjustment.

  • 1. Power Switch: Turns monitor on/off.
  • 2. Brightness Control: Adjusts overall brightness.
  • 3. Contrast Control: Adjusts contrast level (difference between dark and light areas).
