Setting up your new microwave oven

  1. Checking the parts: Unpack the oven and verify all parts are present. Contact Samsung if any parts are missing or damaged.
  2. Setting up: Wipe the interior with a damp cloth. Install the pre-assembled roller ring and glass tray. Install the metal shelf if needed, ensuring proper placement to avoid arcing.
  3. Learning about the control panel: Familiarize yourself with the buttons and their functions, including power levels, cooking presets, and timers.
  4. Setting the time: Set the built-in clock by pressing 'Options', '9', 'OK', entering the time, and pressing 'OK'.
  5. Using my setting feature: Customize oven preferences by pressing 'Options', selecting a function, pressing 'OK', selecting a setting, and pressing 'OK'.

Using your microwave oven

  • Stop/Clear Button: Use to clear entries, pause cooking, stop cooking, or cancel timer settings.
  • Child Lock: Activate/deactivate by pressing 'START' for 3 seconds to prevent accidental operation.
  • Kitchen Timer: Set timer up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
  • +30 Sec Feature: Adds 30 seconds to cooking time at High power.
  • More/Less Feature: Adjusts pre-set cooking times after cooking has begun.
  • Eco Mode: Reduces standby power usage.
  • Turntable On/Off: Turn the turntable on or off for cooking.
  • Turning on the Vent/Light: Control the vent fan and cooktop light.
  • Keep Warm: Keep food warm for up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
  • Auto Defrost: Thaw frozen foods by entering weight.
  • 1 Pound Defrost: Automatically sets time for 1.0 lb of frozen food.
  • Sensor Cooking: Cooks favorite foods using preset power levels and times.
  • Microwave Setting Cooking Times & Power Levels: Set cooking time and choose from 10 power levels.
  • One-Stage Cooking: Set cooking time; power level defaults to High.
  • Multi-Stage Cooking: Set up to two cooking stages with different times and power levels.
  • Fit Choice Button: Select menu items and amounts for automatic cooking.
