Getting to Know Your Camcorder
Your camcorder has many features for recording and playing back.
- Snap Shot: Records an object at a standstill for a limited time.
- PIP: Shows the center of the image while recording in Digital Zoom.
- BLC: Compensates for subjects with backlighting or light backgrounds.
- DSE: Adds special effects for a creative look.
- Program AE: Adapts shutter speed and aperture to the scene.
- DIS: Compensates for handshake for stable images.
- Zoom: Changes the size of the subject in the picture (22x optical, 880x digital).
- Macro: Records subjects at close range.
- EASY Mode: Simplifies recording for beginners.
- Multi Playback (PAL60): Allows viewing on a PAL TV.
- Hi8: Enhanced 8mm format, automatically selected for Hi8 cassettes.
Preparing
Connecting Power: Use AC Power Adapter for indoor recording or Battery Pack for outdoor recording.
Battery Installation: Ensure correct placement of the battery pack and lithium battery.
Lithium Battery: Maintains clock, title, and preset memory.
