Terms used in this manual

“Front display” and “Rear display”: Refer to the screens attached to the unit or commercially available additional screens.

“Video image”: Refers to moving images from DVD-Video, DivX®, iPod, or connected AV equipment.

External storage device (USB, SD)

Refers collectively to SD memory cards, microSD cards, and USB memory devices.

SD memory card

Refers collectively to SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards, microSD cards, and microSDHC cards.

Protecting the LCD panel and screen

Do not expose the LCD to direct sunlight. Keep cell phone antennas away from the screen. Touch the panel keys gently with your finger.

Notes on internal memory

Before removing the vehicle battery

If the battery is disconnected or discharged, memory will be erased and must be reprogrammed. Some data remains, so refer to "Setting items to be deleted" on page 174.

Issue	Possible Cause	Solution
Navigation system screen is blank.	The navigation system is not powered on.	Connect the power cord securely.
Cannot receive GPS signal.	The GPS antenna is not connected or is obstructed.	Connect the GPS antenna securely. Ensure it is not obstructed.
Navigation system is slow or freezes.	The system is overloaded or has a software issue.	Restart the navigation system. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
Audio is distorted.	Volume is too high or there is an issue with the audio source.	Lower the volume. Try a different audio source. Check connections.
Bluetooth connection fails.	Device not discoverable or pairing issue.	Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. Try re-pairing. Check device compatibility.
