Connection with a Stereo Amplifier
Connect the positive (+) output terminal of your amplifier with the positive (+) input terminal of the CS-88A and the negative to negative. Do not reverse these polarities.
Level Control Adjustment
Set the tone control knobs of your amplifier to FLAT position and the loudness switch OFF. Then adjust the CS-88A's level controls for desired tone quality. The MID control adjusts mid-range response (NORMAL dampens about 1.5 dB, DECREASE dampens about 3 dB). The HIGH control adjusts high-end response (NORMAL dampens about 2 dB, DECREASE dampens about 4 dB). Increasing both controls provides standard flat response.
Installation
When placing the CS-88A on the floor, attach the four provided circular pads to the bottom as shown in Fig. 3.
