Power On
Press the POWER button on the unit or use the remote control.
Disc Set
Open the tray using the OPEN/CLOSE button. Insert the disc and close the tray.
Test Mode: Play
Press the PLAY key on the remote control unit to start playback.
Test Mode: Off
Press the POWER button to turn off the unit, or use the ESC key on the remote control to reset it.
LD ON
For DVDs, press TEST (A8-5E) and 1 (A8-01) keys in order, then turn on the laser diode (650n). For CDs, press TEST (A8-5E) and 4 (A8-04) keys in order, then turn on the laser diode (780n).
