Warranty Information

Limited warranty covers defects in materials, design, and workmanship for one year for the phone and six months for the battery.

  • Switching on/off: Long press the hang up/on-off key.
  • Making a call: Enter the number and press dial key, or select from contacts.
  • Answering a call: Press the pick up key.
  • Ending a call: Press the hang up/on-off key.
  • Handsfree mode: During a call, press options and select Handsfree.
  • Mute call: During a call, press options and select Mute.
  • Call recording: During a call, press options and select Record.
  • Speed Dial: Set numeric keys (2-9) for quick dialing via long press.
  • Main Menu: Press the centre navigation key to access features like Entertainment, Browser, Media player, Camera, etc.
  • Text Input: Supports T9 Pinyin, T9 Stroke, T9 English, Multi-Tap, and 123 numeric input.

The phone does not switch on Remove/reinstall the battery. Charge the phone until the battery icon stops scrolling. Unplug from charger and try to switch on the phone.
Your phone doesn't return to the idle screen Long press the hangup key or switch off the phone, check that the SIM card and the battery have been installed correctly and switch it on again.
The network symbol is not displayed The network connection is lost. Check for radio shadow or network coverage area. Try from another place, check the antenna, or contact your network operator.
The display doesn't respond (or the display responds slowly) to key presses Display may respond slowly at very low temperatures. Take the phone to a warmer place. In other cases, contact your phone supplier.
Your battery seems to over heat Ensure you are using the Philips authentic accessory shipped with your phone.
Your phone doesn't display the phone numbers of incoming calls This feature is network and subscription dependent. Contact your operator for detailed information.
You can't send text messages Check your SMS centre number or contact your operator.
You have the feeling that you miss some calls Check your call divert options.
The display shows INSERT SIM Check SIM card insertion. If the problem remains, the SIM card may be damaged. Contact your operator.
When attempting to use a feature in the menu, the mobile displays NOT ALLOWED Features are network dependent. Contact your operator for detailed information.
Your phone is not charging If the battery is completely flat, it may take several minutes of pre-charge before the charging icon is displayed.
