Warranty Information

Philips provides a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for new products.

  • Record video: Adjust screen, switch to video mode, aim lens, press shutter to start/stop. Use T/W to zoom.
  • Take pictures: Switch to photo mode, aim lens, press shutter halfway for focus, fully to capture.
  • Play media: Enter play mode, swipe to select, tap to play video or view pictures.
  • Manage files: Delete files individually or in batches, tag files for playback options.
  • Edit videos: Trim video clips.
  • Adjust settings: Access system menu to change resolution, flash, photo size, scene, date, time, language, etc.
  • Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable to view on TV.
  • Software: Install and use ArcSoft MediaImpression HD Edition for import, edit, and upload.
  • Transfer files: Connect to PC/Mac via USB to transfer video/pictures.

Troubleshooting and error codes

No response Turn on camcorder, charge battery.
Memory full! Check Micro SD card insertion, transfer files, or clear memory.
No access to computer folders Ensure correct USB connection, camcorder may auto-off after 15 mins.
Blurry video/pictures Hold steady, avoid fast panning, use tripod if needed.
Distorted TV output Select correct TV system setting.
Camcorder stopped responding Manually reset using the small opening under the HDMI cover.
Incorrect colors Allow time for automatic white-balance correction, especially when moving between light conditions.
