Record video: Switch mode to ▽, aim lens, press shutter button to start. Red indicator appears. Press again to stop recording. The camcorder saves the recording.
Take pictures: Switch mode to ◆, aim lens, press shutter button halfway to focus, then fully to take a picture. The camcorder saves the picture.
Play: In viewfinder mode, press ►■ to enter play mode. The last recorded video plays. Use ◆ / ▶ to select a picture or video clip. Press ►■ to play a selected video.
Adjust settings: In viewfinder mode, press ◆ to access the settings menu. Use +/- to highlight an option, ◆ / ▶ to select a setting, and ►■ to confirm.
Connect to TV: Use an HDMI cable (mini to standard) to connect the camcorder to the HDTV's HDMI input socket.
Transfer to PC/Mac: Connect the camcorder to a PC/Mac via USB. Navigate to 'My Computer\CAM102B\DCIM\100MEDIA' (or similar path) to copy files.

| Why do my video/pictures look blurry? | Hold the camcorder steady during shooting. Do not move the camcorder too fast during video capture. Use a tripod if necessary. |
| Why do my video/pictures look distorted on a TV screen? | Select the correct TV system. |
| How do I charge the camcorder? | Use the USB pop-out connector connected to a PC/laptop or a USB charger. |
| How long do I have to charge the camcorder? | When connected to a PC/laptop, it takes 3 hours. Via a USB adaptor, it takes 2 hours. |
