Charging the battery

  1. Place earphones in charging box and charge for 2 hours for optimal battery.
  2. Use only the original USB-C charging cable.
  3. Finish calls before charging as earphones will power off.
  4. Connect USB cable to charging box and power source. LED on the front panel indicates charging. Light goes off when fully charged.

Pairing the earphones

  1. Ensure earphones are fully charged.
  2. Open the charging box. LEDs on both earphones flash white & blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your device.
  4. Select 'Philips TAT2206' and enter '0000' if prompted.

Using your headphones

Power on/off: Open charging case lid to turn on; put back in box and close lid to turn off.

Music control: Single tap to play/pause; double tap to skip forward; triple tap to skip backward.

Call control: Single tap to pick up/hang up; tap and hold to reject incoming call; triple tap to switch call during 3-way call.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Solution
Bluetooth earphones do not turn on. The battery level is low. Charge the earphones.
Cannot pair Bluetooth earphones with Bluetooth device. Bluetooth is disabled. Enable Bluetooth on your device. Turn on the device before turning on the earphones.
Pairing does not work. Put both earphones into charging box. Disable Bluetooth on previously connected devices. Delete "Philips TAT2206" from your device's Bluetooth list. Pair earphones again.
Bluetooth device cannot find the earphones. Earphones may be connected to a previously paired device. Turn off the connected device or move it out of range. Pairing may have been reset. Pair again.
Bluetooth earphones connected, but music plays on phone speaker only. Refer to your mobile phone's user manual. Select to listen to music through the earphones.
Audio quality is poor and crackling noise. Bluetooth device is out of range. Reduce distance or remove obstacles. Charge earphones.
Audio quality poor, slow streaming, or no audio. Ensure mobile phone supports (mono) HSP/HFP and A2DP, and is BT4.0x compatible.
Bluetooth earphones won't pair and won't respond. Put earphones in charging box. Reset earphones.
