- Turn on light meter: Remove lens cap; meter is on.
- Set film speed: Lift and turn shutter speed dial to match film ASA.
- Set shutter speed: Turn dial to desired speed. Faster speeds reduce blur.
- Compose and focus: Adjust focusing ring until image is sharp.
- Rotate diaphragm ring: Adjust until needle is centered in viewfinder for correct exposure. Adjust shutter speed if needed.
- Release shutter: Cock rapid-wind lever, hold camera firmly, and press shutter button.
