Switching on/off:

• Insert the mains plug into a mains socket.
• Switching on: Press the ON/OFF switch (1).
• Switching off: Release the ON/OFF switch (1).

Setting the stroke rate:

• Use the stroke switch (2) to set the penetration depth.
• Turn switch (2) clockwise (+) to increase depth.
• Turn switch (2) counter-clockwise (-) to decrease depth.

Changing the engraving point:

• Switch off the device and unplug before changing the point.
• Turn the engraving point holder (6) anticlockwise to release the engraving point (5).
• Remove spring and washer.
• Push washer and spring onto a new engraving point (5), insert, and turn holder (6) clockwise to lock.
• Ensure the engraving point (5) is securely fixed.

Advice on use:

• Hold device like a pencil at an angle, arm resting on table.
• Use light pressure with the engraving point (5).
• Practice speed on scrap material.
