Issue Solution
A Wi-Fi connection cannot be established. Radio waves get disconnected. Wireless access point is not displayed.
  • Check if the wireless access point is in operating state.
  • Check the radio wave condition of the wireless access point. Move this unit closer or change the access point's location/orientation.
  • Turn the wireless access point off and on, or check its settings.
  • Enter the network SSID or enable SSID broadcast if it's not broadcasting.
  • From the Wi-Fi setting menu on the smartphone, turn off and then on the Wi-Fi function.
When I try to set up a Wi-Fi connection with a Windows 8 PC, my user name and password are not recognized.
  • Use the user name and password for the local account, not the Microsoft account.

  • Confirm login name and password are correctly typed.
  • Ensure the camera's [Clock Set] and [World Time] match the PC's time, date, and time zone.

  • Transmit motion pictures after dividing them with [Video Divide] (P144).
  • Transmit closer to the wireless access point.
I have forgotten the password for the Wi-Fi. Execute the [Reset Wi-Fi Settings] in the [Setup] menu (P137). Note that this will reset all Wi-Fi setup information.

The picture cannot be printed when the camera is connected to a printer.
  • Use a printer that supports PictBridge.
  • Select [PictBridge(PTP)] when connecting (P175).
The ends of the pictures are cut at printing.
  • Cancel cropping or borderless printing functions on the printer.
  • Ask the photo studio if 16:9 pictures can be printed when ordering prints.
