Operation Summary

Shooting and Recording: Ensure proper inspections before shooting. Attach a fully charged battery, turn on the power, and load a cassette. Set switches for GAIN, OUTPUT, AUDIO SELECT, and TCG as needed. Point the camera, adjust focus and zoom, set shutter speed if necessary, and press VTR START to begin recording. Press again to stop.
Scene-to-Scene Continuity: Maintain continuity by pressing VTR START in rec-pause mode. If the unit was turned off, switch power back on and press VTR START. To ensure continuity at other times, play back the tape, stop at the desired point, press the RET button, then press VTR START.
NEWS REC function (SDC615): This function aids in news gathering by controlling the VTR START button acknowledgment time to allow continuous recording, preventing missed shots.
