Before Pairing

1. Insert a microSD memory card. 2. Ensure the camera battery is sufficiently charged. 3. Turn off the camera if it is on.

Smart device

1. Use the "SnapBridge" app. 2. Do not pair from the smart device's Bluetooth settings.

Pairing Procedure

  1. Ensure the camera is off.
  2. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your smart device.
  3. Install the SnapBridge app.
  4. Turn on the camera by pressing the shutter-release or MENU button. Select a language.
  5. Scroll, tap Set, scroll, and tap Next. The camera enters pairing standby mode.
  6. Scroll on the camera, and when the screen on the right appears, launch the SnapBridge app.
  7. Tap the camera name on the smart device when it appears.
  8. Confirm the authentication code matches on both devices. Tap OK on the camera and Pairing on the smart device.
  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

When You Cannot Pair

1. Turn off the camera. 2. Close the SnapBridge app. 3. Remove the camera from the smart device's Bluetooth settings.

Password for Wi-Fi Connection

Default password: "NikonKeyMission". It is case-sensitive. Change it for privacy.

Troubleshooting and error codes

When You Cannot Pair
  • Perform the following and then pair again by proceeding to “Pairing Procedure”.
  • Press the MENU (menu) button on the camera, and then tap (turn off) to turn off the camera.
  • Close the SnapBridge app.
  • Remove the Bluetooth device (registered as the camera name) in the Bluetooth setting screen of the smart device.
